Emphasis on Integrating "Science" and "Practice" in the Collaboration Meeting between Lorestan University and the General Department of Environmental Protection of the Province

A virtual meeting was held between Lorestan University and the General Department of Environmental Protection of the province with the aim of expanding bilateral applied scientific collaborations.
This meeting was held with the aim of strengthening bilateral cooperation and examining common scientific and executive fields in the field of environment, and the parties discussed and exchanged views on expanding scientific and executive collaborations.
The following points can be mentioned among the agreements of the meeting:
1. Utilizing the capacity of Lorestan University laboratories:
It was decided to use the potential of the university's laboratories to obtain a trusted environmental laboratory license.
2. Establishment of a wildlife and natural history museum:
The two sides agreed to cooperate to create and launch a wildlife and natural history museum in the Faculty of Natural Resources of Lorestan University.
3. Integration of scientific and executive capabilities:
Emphasis was placed on the necessity of utilizing the university's scientific capacities alongside the executive capabilities of the General Department of Environment to improve the environmental conditions of the province.
4. Development of training and skill enhancement:
Emphasis was placed on utilizing the facilities and services of both parties to strengthen the scientific level of the staff of the General Department of Environment and familiarize students with executive issues.
5. Formation of scientific committees and research councils:
It was decided to form scientific committees and research councils as an auxiliary arm, using the potential of the university, to expand research collaborations.
6. Establishment of technology units and an environmental technology house:
The parties emphasized the establishment of technology units and an environmental technology house at the university in order to guide the technological environment among students and support intelligent activities in the management of environmental fields.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Hossein Hatami, while appreciating the active participation of the members, emphasized the necessity of continuing such collaborations to achieve common goals in the field of environment.
It was decided that the necessary measures for the implementation of the approvals would be on the agenda of the parties.
