Academic Programs of the Department of Environmental Science and Fisheries

Description: The duration and structure of the undergraduate programs in the mentioned fields are based on the approvals of the Supreme Council for Planning and Educational Regulations, spanning 4 years and offered in a semester-credit system. Each semester comprises approximately 16 instructional weeks, and the courses are delivered in theoretical and practical formats based on the planning of the academic departments and the subject matter. A key characteristic of these two fields of study, given their close relationship with living organisms and their dependence on environmental conditions, is the emphasis on practical courses, aiming to deliver specialized subjects in a theoretical-practical manner.
